Rental Terms & Conditions
Renter must be 21 to reserve and check-in.
Reservation fees and deposits:
Reservations made more than 90 days in advance of the date of arrival require:
- A $300.00 deposit at time of booking 90 days out of reservation arrival date.
- An additional deposit of 50% of the total rental fee (taxes not included) 90 days into reservation arrival date.
- A final deposit for the remaining unpaid balance 60 days prior to date of arrival.
Reservations made 60 to 90 days in advance of the date of arrival require:
- An initial deposit of 50% of the total rental fee (taxes not included) and
- A final deposit for the remaining unpaid balance 60 days prior to date of arrival.
- Final payments are required 60 days prior to your arrival. Failure to meet this deadline will lead
to cancellation of your reservation.
Reservations made 60 days or less in advance of the date of arrival require full payment at time of booking.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and checks. Upon receipt of your payment, your Reservation Confirmation will be emailed to you. ~Please note that we only accept payments in U.S. currency. A fee of $35.00 will be charged for all returned checks.
By Making your initial payment and receiving a confirmation, you are acknowledging receipt of said confirmation and fee schedule posted within.
Unit Upgrade Policy
Any change of a unit, requested by you, 60 days or less prior to your arrival, is based on availability. This change is subject to a 50% forfeiture of your existing rental fee, in addition to any rental fee upgrade.
Cancellations & Refunds:
~You may cancel your reservation up to 60 days before your arrival to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 60 days of the arrival date will result in the forfeiture of deposit payments unless we are able to re-rent your unit. To cancel your reservation, you must send a written request via email or US mail at least 60 days before your scheduled arrival date.
Please be aware that the specific unit reserved for your stay is tentative. Casa del Mar reserves the right to cancel or relocate your reservation to an alternative unit for any justified reason. In the event of a cancellation, we will promptly refund your full deposit. All changes to reservations must be submitted in writing. We will not process any changes via telephone or in person without a written request.
Check-In / Checkout:
All Owners and Guests must register at the office upon arrival to fill out a registration card and obtain a parking pass before entering your unit. If you arrive before 5 pm, please register at the office and do not go directly to your unit.
Late arrivals after 5:00 p.m. – Enter your unit with the door key code that was emailed and/or texted to you. Resort information will be located inside your unit. Late arrivals after 5:00 p.m. are required to visit our office in the morning to register. Please have your picture ID and license plate number with you. Note that your code will stop working at 11 AM if you have not registered at the office unless you have made special arrangements.
- Check-In is 3 PM
- Check-Out is 10AM
Unit Ammenities:
All condominiums are privately owned and equipped for basic vacation needs. Kitchen utensils and a starter supply of soap and paper products are made available for all rentals. You will need to bring or purchase additional supplies.
Occupancy Limit:
Limit: Each unit has a specific maximum occupancy. Take note of the maximum number of guests allowed in the condominiums before making your reservation. This policy is strictly enforced.
Important: Rollaway cots or air mattresses are not permitted
Parking:
Each rental unit is allowed one (1) parking space, and each unit will be issued one (1) parking permit at check-in. Due to space limitations, boats, trailers, R.V.s, jet skis, and similar vehicles are not permitted to park on the property. If you plan to bring any of these items, please contact the office in advance of your stay for off-premises storage information.
Overnight Visitors: We may have a limited number of surplus parking spaces available. Guests may request one (1) additional parking pass prior to arrival, which will be issued at our sole discretion. However, we cannot guarantee that additional parking passes will be available during your stay. Please call the office at least 48 hours before check-in to make your request.
Day Visitors: If you are expecting day visitors, please check with the office first to determine if surplus parking is available and request a day parking pass. This will help ensure that your visitors are not turned away or towed.
Gatherings:
Our properties are located in residential areas and are rented for personal vacation use only. Parties and other gatherings are allowed based upon management approval only.
Smoking:
All condominiums are Non-Smoking. A $250.00 non-refundable cleaning fee will be imposed if smoking of any kind occurs inside the unit. This includes the use of tobacco, cannabis (even if you have a medical card), and e-cigarettes. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a smoke-free environment.
Pet Policy:
No pets are permitted in units or on the grounds.
Room Condition and Additional Cleaning Fee:
Renter agrees to maintain the cleanliness of the premises during the occupancy and to leave the premises in good condition upon departure. If your unit is left in a condition that significantly exceeds our normal cleaning requirements, an additional cleaning fee of $75 will be applied to cover the extra time and resources needed to restore the unit to its standard condition.
Marketing
As a reserved guest of Casa Del Mar, you will periodically receive marketing materials throughout the year on special promotions, discounts and communications. You will always have the opportunity to unsubscribe.
